Why We Started R&C

R&C Property Group was founded by Clare and Rachel as a conscious decision, not a reaction. As long-term property owners and investors themselves, they understand that property isn't just a transaction — it's an asset that requires informed guidance, consistency, and care over the long term.

They created R&C to offer a more considered way of doing real estate on the Sunshine Coast: a boutique, owner-led agency where clients deal directly with the principals, communication is clear and timely, and decisions are made with purpose. The focus is simple — ensuring clients feel understood, confident, and informed at every stage.

R&C Property Group was created to do real estate in a way that feels clear and human. As long-term property owners and investors, Rachel and Clare understand that a property isn't just a transaction — it's an asset that matters and a decision you need to feel confident about.

They've managed their own properties and worked closely with tenants, so they know what good communication and follow-through actually look like. That experience shapes how R&C works day to day — being available, explaining things properly, and doing what's been promised.

R&C is intentionally small and owner-led. When you work with R&C, you deal directly with the business owners. No call centres. No being passed around. Just straightforward advice, quick responses, and people who genuinely care about protecting your asset and maximising your result.

Clare Bowers

Clare Bowers is a Co-Founder and Licensee of R & C Property Group, with a long-standing connection to property, people and the local community.

More than 25 years ago, Clare purchased a small block of land in Nambour, beginning her family's long-term investment journey. This experience shaped her practical understanding of property as a way to build security and plan for the future, not just buy and sell homes.

Clare brings over 16 years of experience in customer service and telecommunications, where clear communication, problem-solving and client care were central to her work. She is known for explaining the process simply, avoiding unnecessary jargon and making sure clients feel informed and supported at every stage.

At R & C Property Group, Clare focuses on building genuine client relationships and delivering a calm, honest and personal real estate experience.

Rachel

Co-Founder / Director
Sales and Property Management

Rachel is a Co-Founder and Director of R & C Property Group, bringing a logical, steady approach to the business. With over 20 years' experience in operations management and human resources, she is highly skilled in structure, compliance, and clear communication — all essential in property management done properly.

As a long-term property owner and investor, Rachel understands property from both a people and asset perspective, always with a focus on long-term outcomes. Her background means processes are clear, formalities are handled correctly, and nothing is overlooked.

Rachel is known for her clear and direct approach, consistency, and efficiency. A key part of her role is reassurance — keeping clients informed, setting expectations early, and following through on what's been agreed so clients feel confident and supported.

Local to the Sunshine Coast, Rachel understands the community and the local property market. At R & C Property Group, she plays a central role in ensuring each property is managed with care, accountability, and attention to detail — protecting the asset while supporting the people behind it.
